Empowering Women in Leadership Positions: A Lecture on Harnessing Communication and Digital Skills for Leadership Etiquette

Moyosore Ayo Kukoyi delivered a lecture titled ‘Harnessing Digital Skills for Leadership Etiquette’ to an esteemed audience at the 4 Day Workshop on Leadership Etiquette and Sustainable Development for Women held at the Hilton Hotel in Istanbul, Turkey. This lecture was held on the 20th through the 23rd of November, 2023. The audience included the First Ladies of Jigawa, Zamfara, Niger, Ebonyi, Cross Rivers, and Ondo State, as well as Directors from FIRS, BUI, NEMA, Customs, Commissioners, and Members of the House of Reps. During the lecture, the speaker emphasized the importance of communication skills for women in leadership positions, as it serves as a driving force for positive impact in both professional and personal lives. Additionally, the speaker highlighted the necessity for leaders to possess digital skills in our technology-driven era. Among the various digital skills discussed, a substantial portion of the lecture was dedicated to emphasizing the significance of Cybersecurity Awareness. In today’s world, adversaries stop at nothing to exploit vulnerabilities, making it crucial for individuals and organizations to stay vigilant. The session was truly memorable, with overwhelmingly positive feedback. The speaker is immensely grateful to the Office of the Secretary General of the Federation of Nigeria and PUWI for granting this opportunity. The speaker remains dedicated to contributing to the sustainable development of the Nigerian people, particularly women.
